We have entered an interesting time as “science” is being challenged publicly for adjusting numbers to meet with their political agendas (example here). Agendas? Uh huh.

If you consider yourself a Christian, you, your God and your Faith are being mocked by Richard Dawkins and his followers. If you think Science is unbiased and friendly, think again (Your Tax Dollars Hard at Work).

Beyond Creation vs. Evolution, this video is a perfect example of why Christians need to de-politicize the Gospel. The points that Richard Dawkins brings up to mock believers are repeatedly glued to the Republican Party, the War, the Bush Dynasty and many other untruths.

Are they wrong? NO! That IS the world’s view of God that Over-Politicized Right Wing Christian activists have given them! That is unfortunately the material they have to work with…a “gospel” filled with tainted Right-Wing propaganda!

But God did not register Republican nor has He aligned Himself with those things. We are not entitled to land, laws or freedoms. We have no “inalienable rights”. Instead we are to have nothing and store nothing here at all. Everything we are here to do is summed up in one word…LOVE.

Seek first the Kingdom and His Righteousness. Not seek first to protect yourself from socialism. In fact we as Christians were TOLD to act in a form of socialism. Sell everything and give the proceeds to the poor so that no one among you is in need. HUH?!

Think how many people we alienate by protecting our views, our rights and our stuff. Once the world despises you for sacrificially LOVING them…only then can you die victoriously in Jesus’ Name.

Now watch this video, cry for the distorted view of God the world has been given and prepare for an uprising that will most undoubtedly remove your freedoms.

Blogging for yourself is hard. Especially when part of your job is blogging for everybody else. So I have all but ignored my personal blog for several months now. And if you check that falls right in line with blogging statistics overall. Start out gangbusters then slowly peter out until your online presence becomes a ghost town.

So why is it so hard?

For some it’s just a matter of not being passionate enough about a topic to blog about it. For others, it’s a confidence issue…”Who is going to want to read my take on the world?” …or “What if somebody doesn’t agree with me and rips me a new one?”

I’m more of the latter.

I am opinionated and passionate…to the point of angering folks and even being labeled obsessive. But, what I’ve found is that many of my critics (and yours too) have major issues themselves. Instead of blazing trails they get more mileage out of crapping on yours.

Some among you just won’t get it.

You will get criticized for what you say…and even for blogging, vlogging, Tweeting, Facebooking at all. But as one of my favorite Dr. Seuss quotes says – “Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”

So here I go again. A renewed motivation to just get out there and BLOG!
